See into the ~future~

Hello everyone!

So, Fran and I are doing a slightly plotty thing with Sif and Snow. Sif is going to take Snow to Kori to help with the visions, and she is going to wind up getting them instead. This is a temporary thing, that will last one in-game day.

So, Sif gets a day of visions and Snow she is SLIGHTLY more sane. Only slightly.

The reason I’m posting is that I’m going to do an orb post with Sif. She doesn’t have nearly as much experience with these things as Snow, and will be in sort of sensory overload. If there is anything in your character’s immediate future that you would like Sif to hint at/get really vague and maddeningly nonspecific visions of, let me know!

If you don’t want to participate, no worries! Just don’t respond to the orb.

It's not in his immediate future, but if Sif wants to get any hints of what actually happened to Giles, that'd be fine with me!

I have no idea what you mean. Giles is fine. Nothing happens. Everything is fine and nothing is the matter.

Hm, is it only future? Because we could have fun with things in Widow's past. Otherwise, I actually do have one huge thing that is probably going to happen.

Oh, excellent question! Fran said (correct me if I am wrong, Fran!) that the past is open, too. In both cases, Sif would just get flashes of things -- what she says will probably mean more to Natasha than to Sif.

Ooo, in that case, I am very willing to partake. You can browse her app for ideas? But some quick things off the top of my head are the Red Room, her ballet career, Russia, being brain washed, being an orphan. And the future thing is that Hawkeye could be coming to the game as I've a friend apping him soon. ^_^

Cool! I think I will stick with her past, on the off chance the app doesn't go through. Do you have any DEETs preferences? Stuff that you'd like someone to know about Tasha that she wouldn't willingly give up?

Out of the things I listed, the Red Room training for sure (so, maybe Sif could see, literally, a red room, or just ALL red & that would freak her out in two ways, due to her bloody past), the brainwashing (IDK how), and possibly her feelings towards Hawkeye beyond the whole 'owning him a debt, murder buddies' (maybe she'd see an actual hawk? Like, carrying an arrow in its claws?). Possibly her real age (84), because then that would lead to ~questions~ (not sure how to do that one...an old spider? LoL Maybe a spider [can be a black widow, too] in an old, deteriorating web?).

Yep, past is also open! Snow sees stuff in a haze [as anyone who's interacted with her may have noticed] so past, future and present are all in a jumble for her.

Yep! That shoooould hopefully be unofficially done by next day change? (I need to go actually look at the log that went up, I'm a bit behind @_@) but I assume the battle will go down current day.

Besides what we discussed on AIM, Sif could also get vague glimpses of two women, one with black hair and one with auburn, struggling in a high hall over a door that opens over the side of a mountain. The one with red hair falls.
