Hello all!

I'm El, a newbie around here and I'm bringing along the world's greatest marksman ever so charming archer known as Clint Barton from Marvel comics fame. Also known as Hawkeye, he's a bit of a hothead, a charmer and a bit of a scoundrel. He's going to be bumping around the place as a Knight and trying to get the hang of things. He really hates magical stuff so he's just gonna love it around here. So pardon him his initial skepticism and freaking out when he realizes the medieval period didn't have wonderful things like indoor plumbing.

Hey and welcome! I'm Fran, the active mod, and I play this game nerd, Raven Prince from Princess Tutu and a pair of OCs (amusingly, one who is named Hawk so expect brief confusion :D)

Thanks for having me! And oh dear, confusion FTW! Trust me, Hawk's name cannot be as bad as some of the nicknames Clint's gotten over the years including his ex-wife calling him 'Hawky' [Snort]

*snicker* Hawk's main nickname that annoys him is his (somewhat crazy) mother calling him "Dark Chyld." Makes him glad she didn't name him that instead. :) [but he would snicker at "Hawky" if he heard it :D]

Hahahaah well Clint's set waaaay pre-Bobbi so thankfully for him, he won't have to worry about any embarrassing nicknames like that just yet. Can't guarantee Tony won't call him chickenhead or something else however. [Halo]

Clint wouldn't be completely adverse to this at all. I suspect he's going to be wanting to shoot something soon enough!

The other Hawk has a son [who is a werewolf], so this will add to the confusion!

Also, Faolan likes to have all the CR, so expect to be poked by someone who will be confused to hear your character's name.

So question, is there like a map or something of the town/area/what have you?

Anything like a defensive moat, how many roads into it etc. etc. etc.

Fran has put the maps up on Plurk. I think the country map is somewhere in OOC, but I don't know if she put the Schwanheim map there.

Yes! Nice to see a Cap too! Clint's fairly early in his Avengers career so he definitely knows Steve and is still in his butting heads with him phase. [Grin!]

Steve is slightly embarrassed that Clint met him during his 'angry at the entire world and new the new decade' phase. At least at his canon point, he's mellowed out a bit. He's only slightly cranky with SHIELD. LOL

He needs people to get him wound up. He's too calm otherwise.
