So, as you may have gathered by the lack of day change posts, Einmal is having a bit of troubles. As such, I'm officially switching the game to Sandbox mode.

What does this mean?

In short: No day change posts, apps are just saying "hey hey let me play" and the mods are mostly going to be there to flag down if you need/want info on something. Lazy Mod is going full out lazy with this.

If anyone wants to do something with the NPCs, just give a holler and one shall appear but just assume everyone's gone into an odd sort of automatic pilot.

I'm very pleased to announce that Ember [Peeta-mun] and Ekko [Liara-mun] have joined on as co-mods for Einmal and will be picking up my slack and hopefully helping to get things moving here again.

There's also an email set up for the mod box for if you don't want to PM the mod account and contact info has been set up for the new co mods as well.

So, as you may have noticed, there's been a slight shift in how the day change posts have been, as well as me flaking out a lot about getting them up. Especially the Wednesday ones. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm hitting a point where I'm getting a bit burned out on running the game, especially as the player base has been shrinking, and with the fact that I'll be moving in 2 months, I think it's come time for me to ask you guys for some help.

I would like to get a co-mod to help with some of the basic operations, getting the day change up, keeping the spreadsheet up to date, going out and trying to find new players, possibly taking some of the NPCs to play, etc. I also would love for you guys to give some feedback and ideas for getting the game up to speed again. Ideas for plots, things that just aren't working, things that you think would get things going, etc. I know I haven't been the best or most active mod as of late, and I apologize for it and would like to find ways to get things back on track. I just need all your help to get it there.

Shall the Powers that Be decide he's not living up to his Princessness and requires a rescue to be properly role-affiliated? Maybe. Or the local dragons decided they were feeling a wee bit peckish. Point is, Peeta is going to be kidnapped.

I'm planning on tossing Liara into the Forest mystery, but before I put an Orb post up, I wanted to check and see if there is anyone who is interested in doing a Log in the regrowing white forest. I've enjoyed logging with Fran, but I thought it might be a good chance to get a few characters together all at the same time (Gunpei or Ryo, maybe, Yuan or Peeta, Kotoha, Shin'drin or Hawk, heck, Faolan's more than welcome, too...did I miss anyone? Please come along, too. Except Shin. Silly dreamer can sit there and pout. Or astral project. Whatever). I guess I'm just trying to get something going with a few of us, since the game's small right now.

Anyone's interested, let me know. I don't hear anything by, oh, tomorrow night (that's Friday night), I'll probably just toss up an Orb post and open it up to 'action'.

Fran, if we do get a log running, is there any big set-up points I should look at for the plot? Such as heading for that broken path and going towards the tower, or anything?

Oh, unrelated note here: Ember, you said Yuan would be willing to do some paperwork, if I remember correctly. If Liara approaches him in the next few days about taking charge of the Lighthouse outside of the Port town, hiring workers to fix it up, cleaning up the grounds, finding a caretaker or two for when the heroes aren't there, that kind of thing, would he be interested? She'd ask him because a) he is a Prince, and she hopes that means he can handle that kind of work, and b) he's never seen a boat, and she did say she was going to show him one. What better place than the biggest Port in Einmal, right? Just let me know whenever on that, there's no rush to get the lighthouse stuff started.

I've had some good times here at Einmal. It was my VERY FIRST journal game where I played an OC. My very first comm-based game too (and it's spoiled me rotten)! Sadly, it's going to be babby's first drop as well. Thank you so much for being a bunch of my fists, Einmal!

It's time for JW to go home. Somebody has to keep an eye on Hawksaw after all!

Soooo this 1:5 thing is actually really hard for me to get on top of, just due to the change not having a regular pattern. So I think unless there are any objections, I'm going to switch it to 2:7 with the day change post going up on Sunday as usual with a note of when the two days are, and a small quick change post mid week with just the day and the weather and any OoC reminders.

Hey guys, Cat here. I'm just letting you guys know that I'm dropping Alice and Rapunzel and thusly the game. This is a beautiful little game and I love the setting (tbh I'll probably be back with someone >_>) but for whatever reason the two ladies I have are not working out for me.

The other things first: I will start by saying I'm putting Selene on hiatus. I'll finish working on tags that are out there, but nothing new for a little while. Just a heads up for everyone.

I'm also going to be slower than usual for a month or two, probably, because of work and some other commitments, but I will still be around with Liara.

After a long time of side-eying him and feeling like I'm trying to herd a particularly stubborn cat, I've decided it's time for Sasuke to go home. Schwanheim isn't the place for him, and his refusal to cooperate with me has made that quite clear.

So, since the poll has been up most of a month now, unless there's any last minute comments on it, we're going to be shifting to a 1:5 ratio sometime in the near future!

Also, I finally got around to making the Book of Quests that I mentioned. It's just a skeleton at the moment, and links to relevant bits of info will be added for OoC reference. Feel free to have your character discover it in the Hero House Library! [As a reminder for newbies, if you want your character to move into the Hero House, check out the housing page for more info! You don't need to live there to have access to it, however!]

Feel free to nudge or prod me about any of the info pages that need updating since I've been kinda bad at that lately.

Helloooooo my dearies, Alice player here with some ideas about an upcoming tea party I'd like to have! I tossed some ideas around to a few of you already, but really since it's going to be such fun I wanted to get all the input I can!

Basically at some point soon, Alice is going to mention wanting to have a tea party, which will send the NPCs a scurrying to make it happen. Add a dash of AWKWARD JW MAGIC, and poof - Einmal is now Wonderland. Essentially, the city proper (I think correct me if I'm wrong) will pretty much completely resemble Wonderland a la Tim Burton (which is pretty creepy actually).

What I'm looking for is suggestions! I had some ideas about the magic affecting what was eaten and what was drunk but really I'm open to anything if you guys are. Here is what I had come up with:

*scones with pink frosting - you will suddenly find yourself two feet too small (two feet minimum).

*Scones with Green frosting, you will be two feet too tall (max 10 feet)

*Lemon cookies will make the party goer suddenly sprout various animals parts! Tails, ears, pig noses, etc.

*sponge cake eaters will suddenly find themselves a horse (not a literal horse, mind you) of a different color (kinda like the Oz horse!)

*alcohol that makes you hiccup bubbles

Anyways this is a rudimentary list. Suggestions?
